beepit Terms of Service

beepit is operated by Loud Ground, LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the beepit app or website you agree to these Terms.

The service

beepit is an event communication tool. Organizers create events and send broadcasts to the people who join them. Attendees join an event by scanning a QR code or typing a join code in the app. Organizers can also add staff, who coordinate in a private team chat that attendees never see; on some plans staff can send voice notes, and commentators can speak live to attendees. beepit does not provide attendee-to-attendee messaging.

Who can use beepit

You must be at least 13 years old to use beepit.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an organizer account or make a purchase.
If you use beepit on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.
You can delete your account at any time: in the app from your Dashboard, or for organizers at account.beepit.app/organizer/delete. See our account deletion page.

Your content and conduct

You are responsible for everything you send through beepit, including broadcasts, chat messages and voice notes. Organizers are also responsible for how they run their events and groups.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to use beepit to send or share:

harassment, bullying, threats or hate directed at any person or group
sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors
content that promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity
spam, scams or deceptive content, or content that impersonates someone else
anyone’s private information without their permission
content that infringes someone else’s rights

You also agree not to interfere with the service’s operation or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Reporting, blocking and enforcement

Press and hold a message from someone else in the app to report it or block that person. Blocking hides that person’s messages from you.
Reports go to the event’s organizer and to us. You can also email [email protected] with “Report” in the subject line.
We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, remove people from events, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, without notice.

Plans, payments and refunds

beepit offers a free tier and paid options (per-event purchases and Season Passes). Prices and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase. Paid plans are bought by organizers on our website and billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Nothing is sold inside the app.

Refunds. Purchases, both individual events and Season Passes, are largely non-refundable. Exceptions are handled case by case through support. To request a refund, contact support within 15 days of the event ending. There is no automatic or self-serve refund, and Season Passes are not refunded on a per-event or pro-rated basis for unused events. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it and how long we keep it.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will revise the effective date when we do. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
