Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026 · Entity: Loud Ground LLC · Jurisdiction: South Carolina
Beepit is an event communication tool operated by Loud Ground LLC. Organizers run events; attendees join an event by scanning a code in the Beepit app. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Our guiding principle is to collect as little personal information as possible and keep it no longer than the event it belongs to requires.
Information we collect
For attendees, the only personal information we store is:
- If you verify by phone or email: the phone number or email address you used to join, and the date it was verified.
- If you join anonymously: a device installation identifier only — no name, phone, or email.
- A device push token, used to deliver event notifications to your device.
Beepit does not store attendee names. Event messages and their delivery records contain no phone numbers or email addresses — only internal references and the result of each send.
For organizers (account holders), we store the account details you provide to create and run events, and, once paid plans are live, billing records associated with your purchases.
How we use information
- To deliver event notifications and run the event communication features you or your organizer use.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To process payments and meet financial, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations (organizer billing records).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Attendee personal information is removed 30 days after the event it belongs to ends. The countdown begins when the event actually ends, not when you joined. If you joined more than one event, your personal information is removed once the last of those events has been ended for 30 days.
When the window closes, we permanently strip the phone number, email address, and device identifier from our records and delete the associated push and session tokens. This is irreversible. We retain only anonymous event statistics — counts and timestamps that never contained a name, phone, or email and cannot be traced back to any individual.
Organizer account and billing information is governed by your account and any billing relationship, not by the attendee window. See the retention details in our separate Data Retention Policy.
Your choices and rights
- Export: organizers can export their own event data at any time, in CSV, from within the app. Each event shows the date its attendee data will be removed.
- Deletion: you can delete your account at any time. Attendees use an in-app control; organizers delete on the web from their signed-in account. See our Account Deletion page for the exact steps and what is removed.
- Requests: contact us at [email protected] and we will honor your request or point you to the part of this policy that applies.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate Beepit (such as our payment processor and push-notification infrastructure), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law.
Children
Beepit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy as Beepit evolves and revise the effective date above when we do. Questions: [email protected].
