About beepit & its creators
We've run the events. We've seen it all. We know what breaks. We built the fix.
Event communication has always been harder than it should be. The tools were never built for it – so organizers made do with group texts, PA systems, and hoping for the best. beepit changes that. Fast, frictionless, and built in a world where every platform wants your data – we wanted none of it. Just a better way to run your event.
Joe - Cofounder
Events have been Joe’s entire life. Over more than two decades in sports marketing and event operations, he’s been part of the teams behind some of the country’s most recognizable events — the oldest and largest youth lacrosse and football camps in the nation, a national series of high school All-American games held inside top NFL stadiums, junior & collegiate golf tournaments, the largest amateur golf tournament in the world, a PGA TOUR event, and most recently social media influencer activations using emerging event formats.
Across all of it, he’s worked every angle — marketing, operations, logistics, customer service, and everything in between. And no matter the scale or the sport, the same problem kept showing up: getting the right message to the right people — staff, volunteers, coaches, attendees — quickly, reliably, and without the chaos. That problem never had a great answer until now.
Jay - Cofounder
Jay spent more than a decade in remote customer support, rising to senior support ops manager and working with enterprise clients running teams of 500+ agents. Living inside every support and admin tool the industry had to offer, he learned exactly what separates software that helps from software that gets in the way.
In 2025 he started building his own. He taught himself to make progressive web apps and launched Perseus4.com — proof, mostly to himself, that he could take an idea all the way to something real.
So when Joe came to him with one and asked the simple question — is this possible to build? — the honest answer was: he wasn’t sure. It was bigger than anything he’d made. But he said yes, and he started. That leap turned into beepit: a native app, built from the ground up, shipping to both app stores.
It’s the reason beepit feels like it was made by someone who’s actually used the tools — because it was.
Nice to meet you, too.
Now that you know who’s behind beepit, we hope you’ll give it a shot. We’re not a faceless platform — we’re two people who care deeply about getting this right so you don’t have to think about it. Handle your communication, get back to your event.
